Step back in time at Orinda Theater. This is a beautiful piece of history that all film enthusiasts need to check out. Enjoy all the movie usuals, plus a great selection of adult beverages. The popcorn is exceptionally delicious! There are lots of events, and now they’re offering tours of the theater as well! See you at the movies!!🎥

This is the loveliest, most charming theater! This is my husband and my go-to movie theater. Always clean, friendly/kind staff , great food and drinks and amazing ambiance. Love the history and the sense of community when we visit. You must see for yourself :)

The Orinda Theater is a quaint little place that host a variety of events. I love it's location, decor, and vibe. I will be attending more events there. The drawbacks are "DO NOT USE THE PARKING GARAGE" which is located around the corner, the rates charged by Douglas Parking are criminal. R&B singer Christopher Williams performed there on 12/12/2025 and it did not live up to its hype, but I realize that the theater were the host and not the production company. So that is the reason for the 4 stars. #greatcity #lowcrimerate #diversity #nightlife

The theater is quaint and charming. However our experience with the Super Diamond show last night was miserable. We bought premium seats, 2nd row, aisle, to accommodate our needs. The MC invited everyone in the theater to come to the front of the stage and dance and sing and talk and drink for the entire show. We could not see any of the performers and heard many loud conversations disrupting the show. We have seen this show before and it was wonderful, but NOT last night. This was disrespectful for those of us who bought the seats we needed to be comfortable and enjoy the show. If they wanted a private party for groupies, they should have billed it as such.
