I attended the Oscars event, which was a fun time and a good value for the admission price. Several dishes were shared with the event attendees, all of which were flavorful. All of the dishes we were served (hummus, pizza, brownies) are on the theater's menu, so I can recommend their food selections generally. (I also ordered a Greek salad which was tasty and generously sized).

Everything about this theatre is perfect. They have well curated films shown in comfortable theatres with nice seats which face shelves for meals and drinks. The food and drink options are plentiful and reasonably priced. It's near the BART, so easy to get to.

We love our local theater and make it a point to support it and see movies there. But I think at this point that they can respect that gesture of support by dispensing with the divisive land acknowledgement segment of the previews. If the intention is to drive off customers who want to support the theater by presuming that everybody supports your politics, that's the wrong instinct. Stick to showing the movies that we come to your theater to see.

awesome cinema like something out of the 70's. Hot food available to order. reasonable prices. easy to travel to by BART or bus. 15m from downtown Berkeley.

This is my absolute favorite movie theater in the Bay hands down. Rialto is so cozy and they have the best nachos there. I literally make the drive out to watch movies here, it's not only disability friendly but the acoustics are top notch, and everyone who works there that I've met has been so friendly and personable. Even if you aren't the type of person to eat anything more than popcorn and a soda when watching a movie, the theater experience here will leave you dazzled. Plus I love the metal bars under the tables so you can put your feet up and relax.
