Such a lovely place for indie films! The staff are super friendly. As a non-profit organization, the ticket and snacks are surprisingly good value. Seats are first-come, first-served. It’s inside UCSD park & market building, very clean and nice place in downtown. Also it’s easy to get there by trolley and easy to find parking in underground parking garage.

Indie film lovers - check it out!! This downtown cinema features a constantly changing roster of independent films. And with dedicated, easy underground parking, it’s a must! My daughter and I got free tickets to a movie since the Digital Gym participates in the San Diego Library’s Discover & Go program. We went on a Thursday evening, paid the five dollars for underground parking, and went up to their beautiful bright location. The woman working at the counter was extremely kind. Their concessions were tantalizing and affordable! Once we got our snacks, we headed into their small but clean and modern theater. It was so nice to see previews of movies that we would definitely love to check out in the future! Our movie was awesome and I was so happy to be able to see it there! I highly recommend seeing a movie here and also supporting their programs to teach kids about cinematography. It’s an awesome organization!

An excellent place to see re-releases in a small intimate setting. We were at Digital gym because they offer a week long camp for all ages! The kids learn about film cinematography and editing. At the end of the week you get to see their creative energy put to work! It was exciting to see how creative the children were and enjoy it with all present. Oh and concessions were available for you as well!

Nice place to catch independent film in downtown San Diego. It’s just one screen but they rotate their films every night so it’s always something new. Nice selection of food, soda and alcohol. Finding it is a bit confusing the first time. Enter the glass building on Market Street and you’ll see it once you arrive on the 2nd floor. Elevators are available.

What an amazing and intimate boutique venue for unusual and international films. There are numerous dining options within a block or two. Parking is available in the building (see instructions on your advance purchase ticket receipt). We enjoyed watching Riefenstahl here and hope to be back soon.
