The historic architecture, twinkling “night sky” ceiling, and beautifully restored interior make it one of the most unique places to watch a movie or attend an event. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the theater does an amazing job hosting everything from classic film screenings to special events and live performances. It’s clear how much care goes into preserving this incredible landmark. If you live in the Tampa area or are visiting, the Tampa Theatre is an absolute must-see. What a feeling! Sitting inside an almost a 100 yr old building, watching a 79 yr old movie (Its a wonderful life) and creating Christmas memories with my daughter was amazing! From what i could see, it is maintained for its age. I cannot wait to go back. I'm a wiggler in my seat so plenty of aisle seats for me. I was using a knee scooter which I was able to keep it nearby on the ground floor. Next return I'd like to sit up top. The organist was nice touch as well before the movie.

Went to a free event and movie presentation and documentary on Dr. Martin Luther King 🫂 the historical Tampa Theater is a gem 💎 and a must see when visiting Tampa! The interior architecture and design is amazing 👏 🤩! Go whenever you're able to attend any of the many events and presentations there. Highly recommend!

This place was like stepping into a historical fiction novel. Stunning decor. I went with friends to see a comedy show and had and amazing time. I will be looking into future events because I definitely want to come back.

My time at the Tampa was magnificent and was paid off. Very much enjoyed the September Sunday Sing Alongs with Grease, and I say it's the most beautiful theater and the most enjoyable experience the whole family will enjoy. Definitely will visit again at another time!
