Been there numerous times. 1st time my Dad took my brother & I when we were 9 & 11 to see a movie. That was 60 years ago. Still love the feel of the place. After it opens this summer. I sure hope it remains open.

Can’t help but wonder how many events and memories were made in this iconic and historical 100-year old venue. Lots of great artwork and architecture around the building that make the atmosphere special. A must visit for anyone who can find an event that they’ll enjoy! Can’t wait to see the upcoming renovations. Staff were very friendly and inviting. An usher offered me a closer seat due to open seating! I believe there are no elevators to the upstairs seating, and all staircases are very steep! There are railings of course, but some staircases are 15-20 steps. The floors are marble, so they can be slippery. If stairs are a problem, I would highly recommend first floor seating. The stairs heading to the upper level can be difficult to those attending.

It was an amazing show, all the Drag queen were outstanding, very professionals and accurate with the roll they were performing, very entertaining, my daughter and I love it and definitely will see them again, we are fans since their individual season, but after tonight, they have all our admiration and respect, drag queen crew you all are amazing. Thank you for the exquisite show.

I remember going to the Orpheum as a kid many, many moons ago, it was dank, dusty and falling apart, I've had the privilege to visit again a few times as an adult, and I will say it is beautiful now. I've seen a few concerts and 2 comedians. The comedy special tickets given to me so I was thankful to be there, however, the seats were balcony seats and I'm 6'1, female, and mostly legs. I have sciatica and OH MY GOSH! I had to make my way down the aisle twice to stretch. I'm sure the people in my row weren't happy with me. But the leg room in the balcony is AWFUL. I'm also a plus size woman so I know that seats will be a little cramped for me, which is totally on me, but the leg room, I don't fully understand renovating and keeping seats that close together! If there were some forewarning of the leg room I definitely would've requested an end seat. My cousin is 6'4, his knees were on the back of the seat in front of us, dangling. He tried to take them down a few times but he couldn't spread his knees far enough apart to get them down. We looked at one another in disbelief throughout the show. He had red knees for days. The bathrooms are beautiful, the Orpheum is beautiful, the staff was very helpful as we had to place our phones in locked bags and that process was very quick. Overall I will just say, if you're taller than 5'10, with balcony seats, you're not going to be comfortable at ALL.

Great events and atmosphere. They have access for those in wheelchairs but the bathrooms are not wheelchair friendly at all. Overall a great experience though!
