IMAX at the Maryland Science Center

Amazing Science Center near the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Many engaging exhibits for all ages, the kids were entertained ALL Day, and there was still more to see and do. Definitely getting us a membership this summer.

It is a proper IMAX GT, with a giant screen and 70mm film capability, however the Deep Sky film was shown in a 1.9:1 aspect ratio, probably a Xenon digital projector. Still not bad, but not the same.

Subject: Disappointing Customer Service – Employee Charlotte Dear Baltimore Museum of Science Team, I am reaching out to express my dissatisfaction with the service my partner, Victor Perego, and I received from one of your employees, Charlotte, during our visit today. We are in Baltimore celebrating our marriage and were excited to include the museum in our plans, but Charlotte’s behavior was far from welcoming. Her cold and dismissive attitude made it clear she had no interest in assisting us when we asked about tickets for the Halloween event. Instead of helpfulness, we were met with impatience and indifference, which greatly diminished our experience. We expected a more professional and friendly atmosphere from such a respected institution. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and appropriate actions are considered to prevent similar situations in the future. We would also appreciate it if you could confirm whether there are any tickets still available for today’s event. Thank you for your attention.

Boring....i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone over 5 seriously. I had free tickets to the science center and the imax. We didnt even stay for the imax. The place needs some major upgrades. Everything feels and looks super outdated. Alot of things were broken and the tug of war thing that you pull on with the rope has been there since the 80s. Its time to let that thing go
