What a cool theater! Brings nostalgia when you watch here. How movie theaters used to be was actually pretty. Price per ticket at night $16 pp and popcorn for a medium was about $7. It's not as pricey as AMC.

Awesome Theatre! I think this environment to be welcoming and the staff to be friendly. I have enjoyed my movies each time I have attended there.

A gem on York Road! I always admire the architecture. The staff is cool. I like the concessions. The seating is very comfortable despite not being luxury loungers. I rather enjoyed the sound in the theater. Parking in the area is tricky. Just be mindful of the lots for sake of not risking being towed or ticketed.

Nice place if you want to embrace history and a big hall. Don’t expect the seats to be recliner like modern cinemas. The air conditioning was sufficient to make you comfortable. Sound quality was good. The theatre is in a good part of town but a bit far from downtown.

*Update 2025- Back here again to see Superman. Decent picture & sound. Was glad I brought my hoodie got chilly inside. Gr8 popcorn and very friendly staff. Reasonable prices for tickets, snacks, & drinks. Very Clean. Still needs more lighting upon entering & exiting theatre. Very hard to remain comfortable throughout movie due to so little space; it is so tight, actually no real room to stretch your legs out unless u kinda turn your body sideways. Theatre is still holding up BUT.😐😒 Senator is A Baltimore Treasure. Historic. An older theater. Took my brother there for this bday to see Bad Boys Ride or Die. Myself and a lot of others had a hard time seeing coming into the actual theater bec lighting was very lacking inside. Hard to see in the dark and find your seats. This was 25-30 min before the movie started. Clean Inside. Very Retro aesthetic. Not much space to stretch your legs out. Nice big screen and awesome booming sound. Decent ticket prices. Staff made the best of having to work on a Sunday evening. Not crowded. Had a nice time. Thanks!✌️👍
