Alamo used to be THE place to catch a movie, my husband even worked there part time a few years ago cause he liked the place. Tonight was likely the last time we'll ever visit. First, they have this QR code on the table to place your order, not really that big of a deal, but it doesn't work, we tried 3 phones and it was stuck at the loading screen every time. We had to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to come back and help us. They took our daughters order, ask her if she wants her chicken strips tossed, she said that's fine, bbq sauce please. When it shows up, its not tossed and they gave her ranch. When I asked the server about it, they stated they don't toss them anymore. (Why'd they ask then). Husband and I ordered 2 burgers, one with loaded fry upcharge and one with regular fries. They bring out the fries as full sides, charged us as side, then brought the burgers out an hour later with regular fries. We got the sides deleted later so they at least got that right but we never ate them and never got our what we initially ordered. Drink refills took 20+ minutes for 1 soda. I understand they get busy and mistake happens but this has happened the last few times we've been there. I don't even feel like they're even trying anymore, they automatically charge an 18% service fee that's basically corporate BS lingo for gratuity, so even if they mess up, they still get rewarded. I'm happy to pay for service when its good, but its not fair when its substandard especially at how much everything has gone up in price. When you go to Alamo you used to go there for the experience of dinner and a movie, the experience should have been paid for when I purchased the tickets, which also have their own service fee for using an app where no one really does anything, it shouldn't be hidden behind another fee with a frustrating service experience.

Always love the Alamo, however their food has gone downhill over the years. The boneless wings were wayyyy too salty as well as the garlic Parmesan fries… like way too salty. Also, a single coke is $7. Just a single coke. LOL 😂 at least you get refills…also, if they’re gonna make changes - their tables need to be a little bigger.

The parking is free, and the staff is nice. The movie was good, and the audience was calm. But whatever good the place did, the QR menu is a complete disaster, as was the cost of items. First, they tell you to scan the QR code for the menu, but it is on none of the marketing pamphlets, posters, or anything. It only exists on top of the table in the theater, where, as soon as it goes dark, many QR scanners cannot pick it up in the dark, because many phones do not let you turn on the light at the same time, or the QR app does not allow for it. Also, it is never quite clear how to submit the order, as no “Submit” button popped up. Next, the chips and queso cost over $10, so I was expecting a lot of chips, but I received a dozen chips, amounting to two ounces. Well, why order another item? Also, $7 for a beer requires details such as whether it is 12, 16, or 23 ounces, but smart pricing would recommend $6.50 or $6.75. Corporate management obviously needs to walk through the processes to ensure efficiency. Know this: the process can be punishing, so please do not punish customers with a dysfunctional process.

From the start it was a rough experience. Nobody was at the ticketing counter to purchase tickets, yes I know I could buy online but I prefer not to. Then to the theatre, no more menus, you have to scan a QR code, in a dark theatre, thats tricky! Then I placed order online for my husband and myself. 25 minutes later, still not even our drinks. Finally about 30 minutes later they bring is our drinks, then about 10 minutes later our pizzas, which I ordered with ranch sides. I noticed there was no ranch so I let the gentleman know that I was missing the 2 ranches . Waited 10 more minutes, nothing, put it in help request online where it said to, still nothing so once my pizza was cold I had to get up during the movie, go to the kitchen and find someone to grab the ranches. The response… oh sorry we are busy I forgot. Was much better when they had actual servers. It’s too bad because we used to love going there. Not anymore, rather stand in line to get my snacks then carry it myself to the theatre, more efficient, less expensive and at least I would have what I need.

Went there for the first time with my wife. Ordered our food before the movie started and it was delivered in the beginning of the movie so it was dark, having faith that they got the order right. I bit into my sandwich and realized it wasn't the burger that I ordered. It was a chicken sandwich. Waited approximately 20 minutes for a server to come back. By that time my wife had finished her meal and I let the server know that this is not mine. She took it to replace it. I said in the meantime can I get a refill on my pop? 30 minutes later they came back with the right meal but no drink refill. So I had to eat my meal with nothing to wash it down with. After the movie we made a complaint to the manager. He lowered our bill from approximately $75 down to $38. Very grateful for it. Understanding that mistakes happen. The next morning we got up and they charged us over $100 to our bank account, when our bill was never over 80 dollars. We called and they said there's nothing they can do while it's pending. Call them in a couple days. Very bad service. They need to just stick with movies
