I visited this theater last Friday (February 13th) to watch a movie at 1:00. By the time the movie had finished, I counted five separate individuals who had their phones out. I had no choice but to change my seat three different times as I could not avoid seeing a bright smartphone screen, whether it was directly in front of me or in my peripheral vision. This wasn't people simply taking their phones out to quickly respond to a text message or check the time. At one point, two people directly in front of me kept passing back one of their phones, and the one had her camera app open and appeared to be attempting to covertly take photos (which is a federal crime that breaks Federal Copyright Law 18 U.S.C. § 2319B). It's infuriating to see this sort of inconsiderate, entitled behavior being tolerated. Checking the time or excusing yourself to take a call is one thing, but constantly tapping away at your screen or scrolling through Instagram during a movie is disrespectful to others who have paid money to be there. Is what's on your phone really that much more exciting than watching a movie you've never seen before? Smartphone addiction is a bane on society. This experience killed the movie going experience for me, and no theater will be getting any more of my business in the future. Visitors have a social obligation to be courteous to others, and movie theaters themselves are responsible for enforcing their own rules. If I want to watch a new movie, I'll wait until a streaming service releases it so I can watch it in the comfort of my home.

Oh man. The power went out during our movie. No biggie but then they wouldn't rewind our film and on top of that the sound was out during the climax of the movie. I had a stubs membership so I couldn't be reimbursed. Get UPSs guys they are relatively cheap

My husband and I went to this AMC once and never came back. We always go to the one in Rocky River instead. The reclined chairs were broken and could not recline. I looked at other seats in the theater, and many of them are even ripped. I wonder who did that.

The theatre is smaller, however they don't have an Arcade only 4 games. The Staff is friendly and although not modern the seats are comfortable. My little friends and I enjoyed our movie experience. Snacks were good.

Awesome theater! It was my first time there. I filled in for one of the Security Officers. GREAT and friendly staff. Clean and nice theater. It's at a mall area where there are lots of restaurants and stores and it's right off the highway. Easy to get to. I'd recommend it. Cinemark Bistro and Tinseltown in North Canton are phenomenal. If you love movies and big screens and surround sound, lounge chairs, and d-box seats that vibrate and turn with the action in the movie, check them out. Cool, fun experience, good food, snacks beverages, great staff. For all the gamers out there, there's a nice game room and arcade with air hockey, basketball shoot, video games, and at least two machines where you can try to win a prize. There's also a nice size party room for Birthdays. Check it out. The XD theater (Xtreme Digital) is like IMAX. Only about 55 minutes or so from AMC Ridge Park Square.
