Exceptional Amenities Marred by Poor Maintenance ​I am quite conflicted about my recent visit to the AMC Tulsa Hills 12. While the theater excels in technical quality and comfort, the lack of cleanliness is hard to overlook. ​The Highlights: ​Convenience: The Coca-Cola Freestyle machines are a major plus, allowing for easy refills without returning to the concession stand. ​Comfort: The silver reclining seats are spacious and very comfortable. ​A/V Quality: The projection was crisp, and while it isn't Dolby-level, the sound was perfectly balanced and immersive for a standard auditorium. ​Location: I appreciate that this is a standalone building. Being separate from a mall makes parking and access much easier for moviegoers. ​The Drawbacks: ​Unpleasant Odor: Upon entering the lobby, there was a very noticeable, pungent smell—a mix of mildew and stale popcorn—that was quite off-putting. ​Cleanliness Issues: The auditoriums and hallways were disappointing. I noticed trash behind the seats, debris on the steps, and wrappers throughout the walkways. ​Staffing Shortages: There was only one staff member at the concession stand, resulting in a 20-minute wait for guests trying to purchase tickets and snacks. ​Final Verdict: This theater has the potential to be the best in the area, but the hygiene and staffing issues are significant. Until the cleanliness is addressed, I find it difficult to recommend this location.

Been here a couple times now and its not perfect by any means. Not all the auditoriums have the comfortable reclining seats and its very unpleasant to sit through a 2 hour movie in a barely cushioned chair that doesn't recline. Went to see Scream 7 as well the other day and the ending started buffering. With how ticket prices are getting, I might as well wait until something comes out on disc if its going to buffer while being shown in theaters. The employees are kind and have always been helpful, its still a nice experience but it could definitely be better.

Good option for a movie theater in the Tulsa Metro area. Laid back crowd, mostly families and seniors, at least when I have been there. Clean, and well kept.

Premium movie prices but still using non‑reclining auditorium seats. I saw a movie on release day and the theater had the same upright, fixed seating you’d expect from decades ago. For what they charge, the experience just isn’t worth it. If I’m paying premium prices, I’ll go somewhere that actually offers comfortable seating. I won’t be back.

Probably the dirtiest bathrooms I’ve ever seen in a theater. I don’t know if it was because there weren’t any good movies playing or this is just the state of theater going these days, but a Sunday afternoon shouldn’t have felt like a Tuesday afternoon. The place was dead quiet, the popcorn had been popped long before I arrived, and the overall look and feel was of a dollar theater, not a place you’d pay between 11 and 20 bucks for a seat. Oh, and watch out if you order with the app as there’s a $2.19 convenience fee for buying a ticket electronically from the parking lot instead of walking inside and buying it electronically from their kiosk. I have yet to find a theater in Tulsa that’s worth the price of a ticket.
