Visited December 17th and 18th. Great restaurants and shops are on the immediate area! Catch a game or concert and then enjoy everything this area has to offer! The skating rink is across the street from my picture along with Butcher and Barrel and Sauced just steps away! So fun to be at DOCO! Extra Security is in place! Btw...I feel totally safe during the day in this area but wouldn't personally venture out at night unless with a group.

If you’re visiting Sacramento, Golden 1 Center and the surrounding downtown area are worth spending some time at—even if you’re not attending a game. The architecture is striking, especially around sunset, and the plazas and public art make it a great spot for a relaxed walk and photos. A nice place to soak in the modern side of downtown Sacramento.

Nice area with a lot of food and drink options. Neat and coean. Plenty place to sit down and relax.

DOCO is a really nice area to hang out in Sacramento. There’s a good mix of stores and activities, and the whole place is pretty clean and well-maintained. I grabbed a coffee, walked toward Old Sacramento, and visited a few shops — everything felt easy to navigate and stroller-friendly. Even on a sunny day, there’s decent shade, which makes strolling around comfortable. Overall, a fun and convenient spot to spend some time exploring.

It smelt like weed everywhere. Also, it did not feel very safe walking around in the evening. If it wasn't for the strong smell of marijuana everywhere then it would be a great boardwalk to visit.
