I absolutely love that the Tower Theatre is still here after so many years. This iconic spot is great for watching indie films, foreign films, and some newer box office movies. They also have different events where they will play throwbacks and classics, for example Studio Ghibli films or Stanley Kubrick movies for a week or two. It’s not a big theatre, I believe they only have 3ish rooms playing movies. I love that so much hasn’t changed and you absolutely feel the originality of this place. They sell popcorn, candy, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The prices are good and if you sign up for an Angelika account you can get discounts and free tickets. I would definitely recommend coming here at least once!

I loved you TOWER THEATER! You are a Sacramento treasure but I probably won’t return until you do some major renovations! The seats are so uncomfortable you can barely sit in them for a 2 hour movie! They are so old and are just awful. I’ve been in all the theaters and it is the same. RUN DOWN. Went to the Men’s Room before the movie and the urinals were filthy and looks like they never get cleaned. The urine smell was so overpowering and filthy I had to go in the stall. You could still smell it in there. Must be bad management to not clean the bathrooms but I understand the seats are costly. But it’s time to upgrade and get with the times.

Was here attending a woman's month arts and crafts have to say it was pretty awesome beautiful day on Broadway brought out the lowriders me personally I love classic cars when cars ran off for fuel air and a spark not 100 computers that can go wrong on your vehicle and then charge you thousands for any repairs needed but the Art Festival was amazing was there to support a friend that has a candle business and a little bit of mental health care for myself with things happening in my life it was great to get out and be myself with the people eating food enjoying arts and if I may say kindly lots of beautiful women

One of the best theaters and experiences in Sacramento! Such a good time here always. The movies, the staff, the concessions- all perfect! Even when there was a mixup (caused by Fandango, NOT tower) they were so kind and helpful. Shoutout to Rashad for being so awesome! Thank you!

Charming little theatre but very old and run down. They're super uptight about any outside food or drinks. Even water. Someone literally came in with a flashlight after the movie started to inspect if anyone had any outside stuff. They took my water bottle and put it up front and said I could get it after the end of the movie. If they're that desperate to get you to buy their own stuff, tells you a lot about how little money they make, hence how run down it is.
