This is an average movie theater. It’s not upgraded, but it was decent enough, I guess, I went to go see the Housemaid in the theater. I chose to sit in the single chair that’s next to the accompaniment disabled chair because I wanted space. I had to go upstairs for the theater. The escalator is pretty tall. There are elevators as well. I had to get the concession from downstairs to take up with me because the concession upstairs was not open. Overall, it was a clean theater. I didn’t use the bathroom so I don’t know what the bathroom was like. There was plenty of butter and salt for the popcorn. I like the ease of being able to buy the matinee ahead of time to pick my seat. It was a pretty reasonable price around about $10 - $12 and then the popcorn small popcorn small soda was about $18. The small soda was still probably about 32 ounces. I guess I’ll go here again if I need to, but I do prefer movie theaters that have the big reclining chairs. I parked in the parking garage next to the theater and theater offers validation so it was free.

The place looked really nice when we first walked in, but the movie theater rooms need an upgrade. Seats were old, dirty and uncomfortable. They validate parking which is good.

This large two level AMC has so much potential. Great location with more restaurants being built in the new community BUT they really need renovate this theater asap. Strange they haven't done this yet. I live around there but I travel to Tysons Corner because I like new and clean theaters with great seats and sound systems. If they renovate, I'm pretty sure it'll bring them even more business but if they don't soon, I can see it going under. People want a great experience if they're spending all this money for entertainment. Put your customers first AMC! It's time

AMC Hoffman Center 22 has helpful staff and a wide selection of movies, including some international ones. Easy garage parking is available right next door, and they do validation, which is convenient. However, the theater doesn’t have reclining seats, which can make longer movies uncomfortable, and the place could use some renovation.

Nice place. Clean, and huge portions for popcorn and drinks. My only complaint would be that the seats don’t recline (at least not in the IMAX theater) but other than that, it was great! I saw the minecraft movie in the IMAX theater and it was great. I had seats in the 9th row and it was perfect. If you want to watch a movie in IMAX, get something around the 9th row, but I think anything in the 6-12th rows would be fine too. (One of the attached pictures is the view of the screen in the IMAX theater from the 9th row, which is where I was sitting.)
