My husband and I took our 5 children to this theater while visiting Miami. When we walked into the theater it was very clean and quiet. We were the only ones in our theater room for a while. We had 7 seats, only 1 of our seats did not have a working call button. We ordered our food and beverages (non of which were alcoholic). We all received our drinks except for my daughter who had a milkshake, hers did take a long time to come out. Everyone's food came out a bit sporadically, and mine was the last to come however I did order a pasta. Which had more than I anticipated. All of the food was hot and delicious. None of us requested refills so I cannot state about that. There were a few people who ended up coming in after the movie started but ultimately the room maintained quiet during the movie. The bathrooms, theater, hallways and lobby all were clean when we visited. The staff that waited on us were extremely personable, kind, and caring. We are disappointed that there is not one of these franchises in our state unfortunately.

The theater continues to have the same maintenance and cleanliness issues I previously reported about 9 months ago. The chairs and tables were dirty, the plastic covering on several tables was peeling and worn, and the air conditioning either was not on or was not functioning properly. The hallways and auditoriums smelled musty and moldy, which was especially noticeable on a hot and humid South Florida morning. In previous visits the hallways and theaters smelled like urine. I thought it might have been bad plumbing. The bathrooms were also in poor condition. They smelled foul, and several toilets had visible feces marks. Cinépolis charges high prices, but the overall condition of the facility does not reflect a premium movie-going experience. It is disappointing to see the same issues remain unresolved after so much time.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Everything from entering the place to sitting down was fine, but when I scanned the QR code, that’s when things started going bad. The popcorn arrived fine and at a reasonable time and tasted good. However, the bottomless soda just never came. I asked three separate servers about this issue and all three assured me that they would do something about it. They even asked me what type of soda it was just for them to never bring it. Then I locked eyes with one of the servers after the movie and he shamelessly looked away like nothing happened. After the movie ended, I was redirected three times to the manager, and I asked for a refund. This guy brought me a cup of soda. At this point we have to use our brains a bit. If you price the bottomless soda at 10 dollars, aren’t you basically scamming me because not only did I want to drink it during the movie, but that it is a near five times markup from a regular soda from a supermarket? Then this guy finally gave me a refund back with an annoyed tone. I would not recommend coming here if you want your words to fall on deaf ears.

I had an incredible experience at Cinépolis Coconut Grove, and I feel compelled to share it. Yesterday, after a movie, I accidentally left three of my diamond rings in the bathroom. They are extremely valuable pieces, and when I realized what had happened, I truly thought they were gone forever. I was devastated. I immediately spoke with Jay, the manager on duty, who was calm, professional, and incredibly kind. She took my name and phone number and assured me she would look into it. To my surprise and immense relief, Jay personally called me twice to let me know that my rings had been found. Today, I came back to pick them up and to thank her in person. I cannot express how grateful I am. These rings are worth over $2,000 each, and it is very rare to encounter such honesty, care, and integrity. Jay went above and beyond, and her actions truly restored my faith in people. Thank you, Jay, and thank you to Cinépolis Coconut Grove for having such outstanding management and staff. I will always remember this experience and will absolutely continue to support this cinema.

This Cinépolis is my favorite movie theater in the area. The theaters are always clean, the seats are comfortable, and the overall experience is great. What I love most is the rewards program, I can accumulate points with every visit and redeem them for free tickets, which makes movie nights even better. It's definitely my go-to theater for family outings and new releases.
