Came with my husband and we attempted to watch ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’. I say ATTEMPTED because we left 10 minutes into the movie. We paid $26 per DBOX movie ticket. For starters, the ‘recliner’ seats were quite narrow and only reclined about a quarter of the way. The icing on top was the table blocking our view of the screen. No matter which way you turned the table, it was still front and center, the star of the movie. It wasn’t even useful unless you wanted to watch the movie while eating standing up. Oh, and let’s not forget the onion rings which were drenched in rancid-tasting oil and burnt. BUT the best part? The $8.50 small water bottle (500 ml) which was absolutely comical and the most satisfying return of my life.

It is extremely dirty, poorly maintained, and has a neglected appearance throughout. The overall environment feels unpleasant and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place even to my worst enemy. If basic public health and safety standards were properly enforced, this theater would likely be shut down. Avoid it. Everything feels dirty and uninviting. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If local health inspectors paid close attention to this theater, I seriously doubt it would remain open. Save your money and go elsewhere.

this was hands down the worst movie theater experience of my life and i would not recommend cmx at dolphin mall to anyone. from the moment we walked in, the place felt off. the layout is strange and honestly gives weird backroom vibes instead of a normal, comfortable theater. once we got inside, it only got worse. there was visible mold on the ceiling, which is completely unacceptable. the seats were greasy and grimy like they hadn’t been cleaned in forever, there was barely any leg room, and they didn’t even recline properly. on top of that, every time you tried to recline them, they made a loud, squeaky noise that was incredibly annoying. the food was disgusting. i ordered chicken tenders and they were some of the worst i’ve ever had, clearly fried in old, dirty oil and dripping in grease. the burger i got was just as bad. we also ordered truffle fries and paid extra for additional salt, and somehow they still came out tasting awful. to make it worse, they charged $7 for a dasani water bottle and refused to give a simple water cup. the experience inside the theater was just as bad. four kids snuck in and sat behind us, talking nonstop throughout the movie. we complained multiple times, but staff did absolutely nothing helpful. they would come in, wait until the kids were quiet for a few seconds, then leave, and the talking would immediately start again. on top of that, there was an alarm going off for the entire second half of the movie, completely ruining any chance of enjoying it. when we tried to get help, jennifer, the manager, was incredibly unhelpful and dismissive. she refused to refund our tickets or even the food, claiming we didn’t bring it out right away, even though we had to leave the theater multiple times just to complain about everything going wrong. her attitude was basically “too bad, deal with it.” this place is an absolute nightmare. between the dirty conditions, terrible food, lack of basic customer service, and chaotic environment, it’s not worth a single dollar. i will absolutely be disputing this charge with my card company and getting my money back. do NOT go here.

Premium quality and super comfortable, but the website lacks clear membership info! 🎬🍿🥶 This was actually one of the first movie theaters I ever visited in Miami, and I have nothing but great things to say about the actual facility. The seating is incredibly comfortable, the audio and screen quality are premium tier, and the overall experience feels top-notch. Because it is located right inside a major shopping mall, it does tend to get quite crowded, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. Also, a major tip for anyone coming here: the auditoriums are freezing cold, so make sure to bring a warm sweater or hoodie with you! My only complaint isn't about the theater itself, but their customer platform. I have been trying to compare monthly theater memberships, and CMX does a really poor job of explaining their program benefits on their website, unlike Regal which makes everything crystal clear. I want to enjoy their premium screenings regularly, but their lack of transparency online makes it hard to commit to a subscription. Other than that, it's a fantastic theater!

We went to see an advanced screening for a children's movie. The movie theater was clean, the seats were very comfortable and the staff was friendly. My only complaint is that there were no food carriers at the concession stand. For families or those who wanted a lot of food, this meant a bunch of back and forth walking to carry all items. Very inconvenient.
