Affordable, old-school movie experience We went to La Jeune Cinema 6, an older-style movie theater that feels very much like a throwback. The seats have been updated, which is appreciated, but they do not recline, and there are no drink or popcorn refills. Ticket and concession prices are very affordable, which is the main draw if you’re just looking to see something on the big screen without spending much. That said, the screen itself is on the smaller side, and sightlines can be an issue. We were lucky to have only a few people in the theater, but if someone taller sits in front of you, it may be difficult to see comfortably. We were in the area and looking for something to do, so it worked for the moment. However, it’s not an experience we’d seek out again, and we likely won’t be returning.

The theatre was a bit difficult to find. They opened 30 min later than advertised. There is no popcorn or drink refills. The rooms are small as well as their screens. Mix feelings about Thor costumer service, some were very nice, others not very helpful.

Great place—very family-oriented! We had the pleasure of being served by Adriana, who was incredibly sweet and helpful. She did an amazing job, even though she mentioned her Spanish wasn’t the best. Thank you for such a wonderful experience with my family. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back soon!

I went to see The Backrooms and the experience was extremely disappointing. Several kids were entering the theater without tickets and were loud and disruptive throughout the movie. A staff member eventually came in and tried to address the situation, but the behavior continued and it was still difficult to watch the film. What makes this more frustrating is that this is a relatively small theater, so I expected better control over who was entering and better enforcement of theater rules. When customers pay for a ticket, they should be able to enjoy the movie without constant distractions. Unfortunately, the lack of supervision and failure to fully resolve the problem ruined the experience for me.

Today I had one of the worst movie theater experiences. A group of teens were talking loudly, laughing, moving around, and even sitting on top of each other. The staff did attempt to help but unfortunately the disruptions continued until the very end. I hope management takes steps to better monitor screenings and ensure a respectful environment for paying customers.
