I love CineBistro! I came tonight for a date night with my husband. It was his first time and he liked the comfortable armchairs and the convenient table for your food. We were rushing there right after work. Next time, I’ll remember to arrive early so that we have plenty of time to order at our seats. Because we were so close to showtime, we had to order at the bar. But they still brought everything out to our seats. I ordered a very specific drink and it came out just as I ordered. We live in Winthrop in Riverview and it’s definitely worth the drive to Hyde Park!

Very nice. The theater was nice and clean from the front entrance to the viewing rooms. The room had very comfortable recliners and the waitstaff in our viewing room was prompt with our orders. Truly enjoyed watching movie while having dinner at same time. Wonderful and fun way to enjoy a movie outing with friends and family. Loved it and I'll definitely return.

Mixed experience: Amazing staff, but the theater and A/V desperately need an upgrade. My partner and I came to the Hyde Park location to see The Devil Wears Prada 2, expecting the premium experience we usually get at the Sarasota CinéBistro. Unfortunately, the facility itself really let us down. The Good: The waitstaff was fantastic. We received prompt attention the moment we sat down, and they quickly took our order. The food and drinks took a while to arrive, but the staff was super professional and gave us a heads-up that they were short-staffed and backed up. We really appreciated their transparency and hard work! The Bad: The theater itself (Auditorium 3) is incredibly outdated and needs a massive renovation. The Seats: We sat in the top row. The seats do not recline, there are visible tears in the upholstery, and the cushions are so worn out that you sink right through with almost no padding left. The Projection: The projector bulb desperately needs to be replaced. Throughout the entire movie, the brightness heavily fluctuated from normal to terribly dim. It was very distracting. The Audio: The sound system seemed out of sync and had a persistent, noticeable echo for the duration of the film. I’m giving it two stars purely for the hardworking staff, but for the premium price point, the seating and technical issues are unacceptable. Until they renovate and fix their A/V equipment, we likely won't be back to this location.

Came here for the first time for a date night!!! What a nice experience!! The only thing I wish we knew as our first time visiting, was to come a tad bit earlier. We came in the nick of time to order but at least everything came out promptly and in time for the movie! We are looking forward to another date night here again 😊

A friend and myself arrived just in time for the movie so we had to order at the bar. I got a burger and a drink. The bartender presented a device that read the total due only among with the option to tip on the screen (no itemized receipt). I added 18% tip - mind you, I was ordering at the bar- and my bill came up to just shy of $60. I was doing the calculations in my head and something wasn’t adding up so I asked the bartender for a breakdown of what I’d just paid for. He proceeded to lie, telling me I paid for my food only because he didn’t charge me for the drink. I told him the burger was $20 so there’s no way that was the case. He then said he thought he did charge me for the shot in my drink actually.😒 At this point I asked if there was an automatic gratuity already included and he said yes. This would have been nice to know in advance and I would have clearly seen this had they provided me with a breakdown of what I was paying for when I went to tap my card. I asked to have the second tip reversed and he said he would have the manager take care of it. They gave me a receipt that was supposed to be proof of the reversal but I doubt I’ll get that money back. Kinda unethical and shady business practices. Won’t be returning.
