Really great, well run theater. Beautiful area, plenty of bar options and restaurants. Seats were comfortable and nicely spaced. Besides popcorn,Davis gives you many drink choices. On this occasion, I saw one of the best indie movies I've seen in a long time called "Shank", plenty of Comedy, cheap violence and Chicago locations. All in all, a wonderful theater and experience. Check it out!

Fantastic no frills movie theater, right off the brown line! We loved the $10 matinee ticket vs. $20 at other theaters. Purchasing the exacts seats online was an added bonus. The seats have seen a better day style wise, but they were comfortable.

An absolute asset to the neighborhood. Perfectly sized with a very well curated movie selection, comfortable seats, clean environment, reasonable prices, and friendly staff who are passionate about what they do. My favorite.

The Davis is my go to spot for seeing the latest movies, but they also show older films from time to time; personally saw Eraserhead and Dogma there. It’s very clean, nice staff, has the usual popcorn, candy, and drinks (including alcohol). And it’s located in a great neighborhood with loads of shopping and dining options to do before or after. Overall, I love the Davis!

Excellent restoration w modern plumbing, lighting etc. Will definitely return. Cozy, special, decor (books, cult movie covers). Antique machine on display (i didn't read what it waa)
