Well it was going just fine...even with two standard tickets and one popcorn and a large drink totaling around $50.... somehow I managed to book the only seat in the theater with a missing seat.

I expected it to be like the other AMC theaters, but the seats were old with fabric upholstery and it had a funky smell and the previews and movie were blurry and so dark and hard to see. Beautiful area, but sorry to say, I do not recommend this theater after my first experience there. I saw some people put their bare feet on the top of the seat in front of them, just not what I expected at all.

We generally visit another AMC theater closer to where we live. Th AMC Perry Crossing is a nice theater, but there is a difference. Using the AMC theater near us as a benchmark, there is a world of difference between the two. The movie was good. The staff was excellent. The popcorn, drinks, and snacks were delicious. The overall experience was not what we would expect from an AMC Theater. The worst thing about the visit was the area where we sat. The view was excellent, but the floors were as sticky as fly paper. The noise was distracting every time we, or someone near us, moved their feet.

PLEASE do better! This is one of the most frequently visited movie theaters in the area and you guys don’t even keep it clean. Also, why is every movie banner up in the theater EXCEPT for Michael? Please show respect for his fans that visit your facility to see this movie.

SCAMMM. My husband tried 6 times to place an order with our gift card for two tickets. Apparently you can’t order tickets with the gift card you have to pay for a $5 processing fee. Every time my husband attempted to place the order our seats were bought out from under us and we had to restart the whole process on the app. On the 6th try my husband had cancelled the order because the food we added was over the gift card amount and when he cancelled the order our tickets we’re technically “redeemed” with no way to reverse it. I’ve called AMC in Plainfeild multiple times and each extension refers you to their website and hangs up on you. There is no way to get this problem solved by talking to an actual human being, only their “website” and now we will not be going back. The website doesn’t even solve the problem because you can’t reverse “redeemed” gift cards even if the purchase never went through. Such a scam and they know it. That’s why the automated person hangs up on you at the other end of the phone. $50 down the drain in this economy. Disgusting corporate greed
