We’ve been going to Marcus West End Cinema ever since Marcus took over, and it’s become a bit of a family tradition for us. Over the past year, we’ve also taken full advantage of the Summer Kids Passport program and the winter version—our littles absolutely love their “special movie trips,” and these programs make it easy (and affordable) to turn a regular day into something fun. We also use the unlimited popcorn bucket, which is honestly one of the best deals—every visit, popcorn is basically $5, and it quickly pays for itself if you go even semi-regularly. I recently joined the Marcus Movie Club subscription, which has been a great addition. It gives you one movie credit each month, plus monthly concession discounts, and the flexibility to bring additional friends or family members for a reduced ticket price (around $10), which makes it really easy to turn a movie into a shared outing without breaking the budget. The theater itself does have a few areas that feel a bit dated, but it doesn’t take away from the overall experience. Everything is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, and the staff has consistently been friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s become our go-to local theater because it balances affordability, convenience, and a genuinely family-friendly experience.

I’m only giving two stars because at least the theatre was extremely clean. You could really smell the cleaner which was kind of nice. But the seats were extremely uncomfortable and I thought about leaving twice while watching our movie. The seats were itchy and made me itch the rest of the night, and I could not get comfortable. The parking for the movie theater is in a parking ramp, so be prepared for that. Also wanted to add that the seats we had were terribly stained and I noticed when leaving that there were several seats like that. I also was very unsatisfied with the sound quality of the movie and we were there to see a concert film!

This movie theater used to be high-end and classy and a weekend destination for everyone. Went there to see Lord of the rings last night and was appalled by the condition of the building. The floors are visibly dirty and there is a definite bad smell to the actual theater and that was just the beginning. When we got into the theater room, the seats were so shockingly dirty. It was sickening. You could see stains and white spots and just filth caked into the seats that had most definitely not been cleaned in months or years. That alone is reason enough to never go there again. this is most definitely a problem with the new management because just a short time ago this theater was immaculate. it was truly embarrassing to see the level that this theater had fallen into. I would suggest going anywhere but here Purely for health and safety concerns

I have visited almost every location of Marcus Theater, but this is the only one where I consistently see a long line due to a shortage of staff. I watched Superman in the Stadium Saloon, but the sound system was very poor, and I was not satisfied with it. Additionally, parking during the day can be a headache, but I arrived in the evening, so it was almost empty. Other than that, my experience was good. However, I noticed that there were only numbers on the doors of the saloons and no pictures of the shows.

Probably the worst theater in the cities. Came for a 6 pm showing and arrived by 5:30. Took 15 mins to find a spot in a parking garage that gave no info on how to get to the theater. Came in and the place was a mess. Line out the door with a single poor employee struggling to scan tickets with an iPad on the opening weekend of Wicked. Tried to go to the bathroom and tried 6 different stalls before I found one that wasn't clogged or unflushed. The bathroom in general was in disarray. Toilet paper and paper towels everywhere. Then we paid 20$ for a soda and popcorn and the popcorn was super small and not as advertised on their app(paper bag vs bucket). Finally we get to the theater and find outdated seats - no recline or heated functions, which most other theaters these days have unless they're small local places. Marcus is not. And this is all before the movie even starts.
