Lori and I honestly do not get a lot of time off, so every once in a while we try to sneak away from real estate for a couple of hours, turn our phones down, and catch a movie. We’ve visited Cinemark Raleigh Grande many times over the years and have always enjoyed the theater, which is why this visit was a little disappointing. The movie itself was great, and the staff we interacted with were polite and doing their best, but it felt like the theater has slipped a bit from what we remembered. Several food items were unavailable when we got to concessions, and multiple beer taps were out of service as well. It was one of those situations where you keep adjusting your order because another item isn’t available. We completely understand supply issues and equipment problems happen, and this is not meant to be a harsh review at all. If anything, it comes from a place of hoping to see this theater get back to what it used to be because we’ve had many good experiences here over the years. The facility still has a great location, the auditoriums are comfortable, and there’s a lot of potential here. We just left feeling like the overall experience could use a little refreshing and attention to detail, especially for guests looking forward to a relaxing night out. We’ll absolutely give it another try in the future and hope this was simply an off night, because this theater has been a longtime favorite spot for us to unplug for a couple of hours.

With movie theaters struggling these days, it is still nice to into one and have a relaxing and well worth it experience. Hot popcorn, the traditions of a hot dog and nachos, and the recliner seats. Wonderful experience!
