Galaxy Theatres Austin is an amazing place to watch movies! The theater are clean, modern, and very comfortable. The seats are spacious and the sound and pictures quality are excellent 👍👌. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the whole experience enjoyable. Definitely one of the best movie theater in Austin

I tried to see Wuthering Heights at a different theater. Unfortunately, during my first attempt, I fell into a gentle slumber, upon the shoulder of my date (it was our first, we met on tinder). Due to my shortcoming in my earlier attempt, I decided to give Kathy and Heathcliff another shot and found myself at this glorious theater. The parking was plentiful and the service was kind. I drank two Apple Orchards and watched Wuthering once more- and by golly. What. A. Show. It was only me and two others in the entire theater. We ALL left in tears. I couldn’t even face the employees that had treated me with such kindness. I fled out to my (very close by) parking spot and cried in my car for another 20min. I love this theater. I also returned ONCE MORE for another Wuthering showing. Truly immaculate. Thank you.

I have been super disappointed with my recent Alamo Drafthouse experiences, so my friend invited me to Galaxy to see a movie that's no longer even showing at Alamo... which is a bummer. I was floored by how CLEAN this theater is. Huge screens, super comfortable seats, perfect temperature (I'm always cold at Alamo), and they had these funnel cake "fries" that were delicious. I bought food for my daughter and myself and didn't have to spend more than needed and we were both satisfied. Do they have burgers and cocktails? No. But they had plenty else to choose from. The bathrooms were sparkling clean, which might seem like a strange thing to mention, but in my book a sanitary restroom is worthy of recognition. The staff was lovely, THEY TAKE TAP PAY, and if you're a student, you can get a discount. Alamo needs to get it together, because Galaxy is putting them to SHAME where it matters most. If Galaxy offered showings of older movies, too, that would be super cool, but I don't know the inner workings of that kind of operation.

this theater was cute, the staff friendly, and clean but the theater smelled very moldy. they need to have their ducts cleaned and carpeting pulled. My son and I had major allergy issue sitting in here. The smell was overwhelming.

It's a small theater, but plays recent movies. I liked that it was smaller than most theaters. When we went there wasn't many people at the time which I also like. The seats were nice and comfortable. The reclined and had a small tray table to put your snacks. Had basically the same concession as big theaters. Also had clean restroom.
