Normally I don’t travel to South Austin much anymore due too us living near Georgetown TX but my son and I had to see IRON LUNG so we went here. It was great and we had the whole theater to ourselves! Reclining seats and plenty of room!

I went in to see a movie and had to leave halfway through, on Monday around 3:35-4:00 and all the ladies working there did an INCREDIBLE job helping me out, especially the manager. Without a doubt, some of the kindest, most courteous staff members I’ve ever had helped me. You don’t get that a lot anymore, so they have my business from now on. They all need raises, I mean that. Would give them 10 stars if there was an option. Thanks again

The theater itself is decent, but the staffing for the concessions is definitely inadequate. And since you have to buy tickets at the concession counter, you have to make sure you get there early. I waited almost 15 minutes and not a single person was waited on. There was somebody at the front, but I don’t know what they were doing. Eventually, the people behind me just said to each other “screw it Let’s go see the movie before it starts, we can pay on the way out”, and they walked in to the theater. By the time their movie was over the concessions were probably closed and the theater lost revenue. This is really bad management.

The 4D experience is what makes this theater AMAZING for my family. It's really like a ride and a movie in one. The seats move and vibrate, lights flash, and there's fog and wind. It even releases scents to accompany certain scenes in the movie. My family really enjoyed the experience. The rest of the theater is really beautiful to look at and the staff has always been friendly on our visits. The best emersive experience will be with a movie released in 3D (Avatar, Minecraft). You can see other 2D movies in the 4D theater, but they're not quite as emersive. They are still fun to experience though, with the other effects.

Update: In each auditorium that I’ve been in at this cinema location the sound is really weird, almost as if the speakers are out of sync. I keep forgetting to mention it. Because of this I’m not sure that I’ll choose this location in the future. A separate time, one of the reclining chairs would not recline. ——— Update: There are these little “POP” figurines in the concessions lines. For the Wicked themed ones Glinda and Fiyero are being sold but Elphaba isn’t. I find this very odd… How is Fiyero being sold but Elphaba isn’t when Elphaba is the main character? Why are all the darker people that are available on the bottom? Anyways, the staff were nicer today. And I saw that a seasoning that was probably flavacol was available so I got some of that for the popcorn. —- Pros: • Nice seats that aren’t torn or anything! • Not many people attend this theater so you can mostly likely get good seats if not the exact ones you want • Okay staff Cons: • Not many food options • No self serve butter • The bathrooms could be remodeled
