I am extremely disappointed by the experience my family and I had at Cinemark Grapevine, specifically with an associate named Niko. My wife and I came to Cinemark looking forward to enjoying a movie and spending quality time together during an otherwise busy period in our lives. Unfortunately, before we could even settle in and relax, our experience was negatively impacted by the way we were treated. I approached Niko with a simple question regarding food I had ordered through the app. Rather than listening to my question or attempting to assist, Niko appeared dismissive, responded with sarcasm, and laughed in a manner that felt disrespectful and unprofessional. I was left feeling brushed aside rather than helped. When my wife later approached Niko to request a manager and explain our concerns, the response we received conveyed complete indifference. There was no attempt to understand the issue, offer assistance, or demonstrate basic customer care. Cinemark has built a reputation as one of the best places in the country to enjoy a movie-going experience, which is why this interaction was particularly disappointing. A great customer experience is not defined only by the theaters, technology, or amenities but also shaped by how guests are treated. Unfortunately, the behavior we encountered from Niko fell far below the level of professionalism, respect, and courtesy that customers should reasonably expect. All it takes is a little compassion, patience, and respect when interacting with guests. I hope management addresses this matter and reinforces the importance of treating customers with dignity, because interactions like this can overshadow what should otherwise be an enjoyable and memorable experience.

One of the best theaters I have been to! The staff is always friendly and everything is always super clean. The seats are super comfortable and I love the heater and table that is attached to the seat. Ever since I found this cinemark, I prefer coming to this one over the one closer to my home.

I’d like to shout out the assistant manager, Austin for his help today. One of the members of my party was on a cane and nervous about going up all the steps in the theater and without hesitation he asked if she was comfortable using the elevator for assistance getting to her seat. He then returned at the end of our movie to escort her back down. Thank you so much for your help today, Austin. It did not go unnoticed!

The place is nice. We loved the XD theater and we did the D-Box seats. A little pricy but it was fun. The entrance is beautiful very open very spacious. The popcorn was fresh and perfectly buttered. The blue Icee could use a little more favor. The only problem I would say is they have only 1 restroom, yes they are big, but for the entire theatre. And it’s all the way at the front of the building. Other than the restroom issue I would say it was a wonderful visit. The staff were very welcoming from start to end. Will be back soon.

Seats feel great, atmosphere of the theatres are nice, food is decent and not as egregiously priced as other cinemas. I knocked off 1 star because: 1) I pre-ordered food to be delivered to my seat while watching a movie, it was a small, boxed order of garlic chipotle fries. Why did they package this tiny box in a disproportionately large, tall, loud, cumbersome sealed bag? It was a noisy process to get the food out, and it was in the way of my feet the whole time. Not to mention the movie had already started. I think Cinemark should just let the ushers bring the food as is next time. The food itself was already packaged in a box, it didn’t need a big noisy bag that was also sealed to go along with it. 2) The normal food menu is difficult to look up online; I click on food and drink, it asks for my theatre location, it then directs me to purchase a movie ticket first instead of letting me just see the food. If I try to click on food and drink again it does the same thing. It’s a small pain point but I’m not sure why I can’t view the menu separately without having to purchase a ticket first. Overall service is great, the staff is friendly, and the building generally feels clean.
