I used to come to this theater years ago, so it was interesting seeing it now under a new name with completely updated interiors. You purchase tickets at the kiosk when you enter, then head upstairs to the theaters. The decor is very minimal with a mid-century modern feel in both the furniture and color palette. There’s a small seating area along with a snack station upstairs. The theater itself was great - big, soft leather recliner seats, clear picture quality, and sound that was balanced perfectly. My only complaint is that it was freezing inside, so definitely bring a blanket or jacket. They also have a nice mix of current releases and classic films. Overall, it’s a great spot for either a daytime movie or an evening out.

Nice small theater. The reclining seats were clean and comfortable. Came on a Tuesday so tickets were $7. Didn't try to order any food so can't attest to the claims in other's comments.

I have seen two movies there and each time I have been pleasantly surprised by the kindness and overall chill vibe of the staff. They are always sweet and they remembered us from the previous time we came in. The movie theater is clean and not overly crowded. Purchasing tickets is easy! They are so chill about things other theaters aren’t chill about. I love Violet Crown!

Very comfortable. I appreciate the kiosk for the tickets. The AC inside the theater felt good on a summer night. Loved the colors inside. Concessions did feel limited. And when we got upstairs one of the workers was hanging out on couch.

One of the best theatres in town. This one excels at excellent food and a comfortable viewing situation. When it gets extremely busy, during festivals, it can get extremely uncomfortable if you're sensitive to crowds. That's relatively rare though so I didn't take any stars off. It's a great place to see a movie!
