Marcus South Shore Cinema really set the stage for an unforgettable night. My siblings, nieces, and nephew came out for the pre-release of Michael (Part 1) and we didn’t just show up—we showed out. Full Michael Jackson era vibes from head to toe. From the moment we walked in, the energy was everything. The theater was clean, organized, and the staff kept things flowing smoothly even with the excitement of a pre-release crowd. It felt like an experience, not just a movie night. Now let’s talk about the moment—my brother absolutely owned his “Beat It” look. Red jacket, attitude, the whole presence… he didn’t come to play, he came to perform 🔥 And the highlight? We had the chance to take photos with Greg Marcus himself, which made the night feel even more special and personal. That kind of interaction goes a long way. Between the atmosphere, the memories, and the full-on MJ tribute we brought with us, this was easily one of the most fun theater experiences we’ve had. Marcus South Shore didn’t just host a movie—they hosted a moment. We’ll definitely be back 🕴🏾✨

The Marcus South shore cinema is a stalwart in the Milwaukee area. Really great large leather reclining seats allow you to relax and sit back and watch a movie and some of the biggest screens that I have ever seen. They have a DLX screen here, as well as a restaurant where you can get more meaningful food from the typical snacks that you get at a movie theater. It's conveniently located right off of I-94, and easy to get to. The staff for particularly nice to me on the day that I decided to write this review. I've honestly been there many times and it's one of my favorite places to go and watch films.

Absolutely enjoyed the movie. The place was clean and the seat were very cozy!! I love watching a movie in a recliner and so did my daughter. Lol

Theaters are nice, chairs are comfy. But thats about the end of the enjoyment of the experience. Unless you can take out 2nd and 3rd mortgages on your home, its better to wait for the movies to leave theaters. Tickets to see the movie not on budget day are ridiculous enough, but then 4 small sodas and 4 small popcorns adding 63 dollars to our trip was enough for me to decide our family wont be attending anymore movies... ridiculous price gouging going on

I realize there may be adequate staffing issues at play here, but the women's bathrooms need a major cleaning. Super gross toilet seats, some kind of nastiness on the stall floor - looks like it's been this way for a while. Yuck. Popcorn every where on the lobby floor, too. I know people are slobs and it's not the cinemas fault, but get someone on all this stuff. One positive is that the person behind the concession stand was really friendly!
