I recently visited this movie theater and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The theater was clean, modern, and well maintained, creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment for watching films. The lobby area was spacious, and the ticketing process was quick and well organized. The quality of the viewing experience was outstanding. The screen was large, bright, and clear, and the sound system was powerful and immersive, making the movie feel very engaging. I especially appreciated the comfortable seating, which made it easy to relax throughout the entire show.

I joined Disney D23. My son’s favorite Christmas movie was available in San Francisco’s AMC Kabuki 8 theater. So we decided to add the opportunity to make up for a regret I have for my son’s childhood. Back in the day being a single mom going to college I wasn’t able to afford movie opportunities like this where the entire experience was at a different level. We loved it. Absolutely a memorable experience and a forever dream come true for a Home Alone fan.

May 2026 - Update CAAM Media is Back at the AMC Kabuki with the 2026 CAAMFest (Film Festival & Filmmaker Summit) - Raising the voice and presenting images of Asian culture, heritage and challenges. The screenings at the AMC Kabuki started today 5/8/26 and last through Sunday, May 10, 2026. Animation from Hong Kong (5/9/26), immigrant stories, familial relationships that are challenging: all are presented at CAAMFest - celebrating 40 years! Theater 1 and other screening theaters are being used plus more. This is the place to be! ************************** April 2025 Amazon Prime Video used Theater 2 for a private preview screening of « Another Simple Favor » coming out May 1st. Blake Lively + Anna Kendrick + Allison Janney movie set in Capri, Italy. Gorgeous! Agatha Christie meets Under the Tuscan Sun movie! Cosy for the select group of attendees. Plus got a little gift afterwards. Fun seeing films in theaters with fresh popcorn!

The seats were uncomfortable, with one even being broken, which immediately took away from the experience. On top of that, the screen felt surprisingly small for a movie theater. While the seating position itself was decent, it couldn’t make up for the overall lack of comfort and immersion. I went in expecting a great cinematic experience for a new sci-fi movie, but these issues really detracted from it. Honestly, it would have been a better experience watching it at home.

Nice movie theater, but what is going on with so many trailers and commercials before the movie?? 30+ minutes! I hate that so much. The only thing I liked before the movie is seeing Nicole Kidman.
