I highly recommend going to the Roxie. Don’t expect an AMC or such, expect an authentic cinematic experience. I remember buying a random moving ticket there, and I fell in love with the movie. I didn’t realize, but the director and main characters were in the theater and did a Q&A at the end. This was a lifelong memory I made. Since then, I’ve had similar experiences and even bought a membership. It’s a magical experience that I look forward to every time I get a ticket. Also, their concessions are inexpensive, $4 Kirin beers (Big Roxie) and real butter for their popcorn. I will be a lifelong Roxie fan!

The Roxie, is a classic chill movie experience. Just experienced the film festival and it was a really fun experience. Support The Roxie always. Come buy drinks and candy and enjoy something retro.

The main theatre smells rank, with the odours of at least two different body fluids in the air. They should spend some of the money they raised on a proper clean-up

A cute independent theater showing art house cinema. The concessions are reasonably priced, the theater (Big Roxie) is clean and cozy, though not small. The staff is friendly. You can purchase tickets online or at the box office.

We went to see Match in a Haystack about a group of dancers in the Ukraine who put on a performance. First, the seats were very comfortable and the sightlines excellent. The sound was clear even when the soft spoken dancer was talking. The music was beautiful and the sound level was perfect. The Roxie gives a unique opportunity to see films from around the world. I don't go across the Bay to San Francisco often but learning about the Roxie and seeing this film made me think again about making the trip.
