The only IMAX screen in San Francisco, and it leaves quite a bit to be desired. The best seats are all the way near the back of the theatre, where you’re seated around ⅔ of the screen’s height. The seats don’t recline, and are among the least comfortable I’ve sat in at an AMC this decade.

IMAX great, staff friendly but the concessions were a disappointment. Popcorn was stale and cold and the hot dog just wasn’t—all for the privilege of a 30$ ticket and 40$ concession. Why is cinema dying—this nonsense.

They obviously shared no expense on the sound and the screen but I was a little disappointed that I couldn't lean back and kick my feet up with how much the ticket was! And when you add a $9 hotdog 🌭 and a drink, your night gets pretty expensive! Customer service wasn't bad but not smiling very much. Theater and bathrooms were clean though!

Love watching real IMAX at this theater for movies such as Project Hail Mary and Avatar Fire and Ash. Such an excellent experience!

I visited the theater for the first time on November 16, and the experience was a bit disappointing. For my first movie, Predator in 3D, the trailers and the first 10 minutes played without the 3D working. It wasn’t fixed until several people went to complain. Then during my second movie, Now You See Me, the lights were left completely on until other guests complained again. Overall, the visit was confusing and inconvenient, and I hope the theater improves the attention to these basic details.
