I’ve enjoy going to the consolidated theatres for a long time. And since I’ve had my little girl, I really appreciate their keiki programs. Recently, I saw their promotion for $30 off for $100 purchase. It’s a great offer for the community, and I thought it would be a great gift for friends. But I just don’t see any one person using $100 gift card, and really I didn’t have the money for $100 per friend. I found out that the Kahala theater would split up the purchase since I could not do so online. I just wanted two $50 gift cards for the $100 purchase. So the problem was that no one seems to know the company policies well. I drove all the way to Kahala…probably spent over 1.5 hrs with the traffics, parking…I had to return when I realized that the vouchers given were for food/drinks only, which I would not use. The manager on the phone said he could trade them for the $30 gift card stated online. But when I returned, he said he could not do so and could only refund the entire purchase. Everyone I spoke to was kind. We were all trying to figure out the policy together. It was a big waste of time in the end. Really, if policies were made clearer on the website and made clearer to employees, it would be better. If even a manager was giving out wrong info, of course customers would be confused. I’m still a loyal to them, but I want to put this out there for everyone. And if someone from Consolidated Theaters comes across this, perhaps some improvements can be made. Mahalo.

Great food, some novies dont stay too long and we have to go to ward but i much prefer the kahala location!

I hadn't been here in years ... our K-pop foursome came to see The Rose: Come Back to Me, a documentary on the Korean band, The Rose. I like the concession stand because you can get something while waiting in line. I didn't like the theater so much...it needs a greater degree of drop from row to row.... Luckily, the spacing between rows is very generous and there weren't many people seated in front of us. Parking was good, I was pleased with the overall experience.

Just Me a year ago

The theater was comfortable. I took my 92-year-old mother there and had some trouble finding the entrance where an elevator was available. Fortunately, we had a wheelchair and so navigating the distance from the parking lot to the theater was manageable.

Went to see the Minecraft movie, aand was pleasantly surprised at how nice the theater is. It was my first Consolidated visit, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The theater was clean, staff was pleasant and efficient. Seats were very comfortable, I liked the power recliners and the layout. No worries about people having to climb over you to get to their seats like my hometown theaters. The food was pretty good, popcorn was good and hot. Our theater was just the Standard, no 3D or anything. The sound system was great, no issues there. Definitely recommend. Just save some money for the inevitable shopping at the mall afterwards 😎
