Visited for the first time last night. I've never left a movie theater review but I'm leaving this for Tony because he's an absolute gem! Extremely, kind, calm professional, helpful and warm. Thank you for salvaging my night, Tony, and making it better. :) Also folks, this theater only does 10 minutes of previews so get there on time!!! They will not let you in after the movie starts!! I wish food/drinks could only be ordered during the first half of the movie, the constant movement of the wait staff was a little distracting during the movie. Also thank you to the staff who handled the crying baby situation. I did not report them but thank you for tending the situation. It was a 10:00p show anyway! Overall I had a great experience. Unique space & the bathrooms were clean all night!

Alamo Drafthouse is a catchy and cute theater. It's a solid theater. It's prices are competitive with everybody else, but they have more to offer. Alamo Drafthouse is a theater in a restaurant and a bar Each theater has about 10 rows of seats, with recliners. The recliners have their own table, with two cup holders. Anytime you want to order something, you write it out and press a silent doorbell, and the waitress comes and picks it up. The food is really good, better than any theater food I've ever had. For example, their fried pickles are always well done. Every bright is full of crunch. The meat lovers Pizza is excellent. Play 27 year old son and I have split them the prices are theater prices, but you are getting more for your money and way better taste. This place also has a bar, a lounge, and a video rental.

Nostalgia can sometimes be a dangerous drug; imbuing our days of halcyon with a fondness and reverence they do not deserve. Luckily, no such problem exists at the Alamo Drafthouse Wrigleyville location! This theater is absolutely wonderful. Whether you're looking to watch the latest blockbuster while enjoying your popcorn or if you're hoping to catch that gem of a small film with limited release that multiplexes simply don't have the room to show, the experience at this theater is sublime. Its wonderfully irreverent yet meaningful decor makes you feel right at home for those of us in certain age, but also, is very welcoming two younger patrons. On top of all that, their food is just as eclectic and amazing as their films! The people bringing you your food are kind, courteous, and quick. I know that other people received orders during a fun throwback film(read the information on the website to find out more about these amazing experiences) but honestly I don't remember anyone walking past me even though I was in the middle of the aisle! I cannot recommend this place enough and I'm looking forward to their Halloween showings. Their films lend them credibility as a top rate movie theater but the staff, service, and atmosphere they create elevates them to something more than just your average Multiplex. At the risk of being pretentious, this is a movie theater and I go there to see films. However, I am entirely excited about seeing Twister there soon!

Honestly this is the only way to experience a movie. This is the gold standard for movie watching. I love how the popcorn comes in a bowl and the drinks come in a large plastic cup. Will try some of the fancier foods on the menu next time.

I too am here to voice my displeasure with the way the food system was handled here. We arrived first - yes before anyone else 30 min before showtime and watched 90 people get their food before us. Zero communication from staff, why? Because corporate ghouls removed call buttons and card raises. I contacted them in the app during the film on my PHONE which is inane... no response of course, so now i have to leave the film multiple times to worry about what happened to my wife's food. Ruined our film, ruined our time and all i see is a ruined Alamo Drafthouse. Please train your staff to communicate when there are issues without forcing a guest to leave the film or disturb other patrons. You had this issue solved in the past but decided you thought you could make more money this way. I'm betting you're wrong and will have to pivot back to some of the things that made you great before the sale. Managers were nice to refund and staff was mostly apologetic but maybe take even more stuff off your menu if your kitchen can't handle it. If you're cutting costs Just serve fried food and the now mid popcorn and make the audience get it...like at an AMC or Regal... which will be getting my business from now on since I don't want to get a meal at any of these places but At least at Amc and Regal they have premium formats and I know the service sucks there. Here, you pay the same price as Dolby Atmos/Imax to play around on your phone the whole movie with a tiny ahh screen and get (or not get) bad food. At least the other guys don't cosplay as high end but deliver on the sound and picture quality...why should people return here? . Reset your expectations and you might like the new ADH.
