Stubs member To the management, I already sent it to AMC. I saw the replies you gave to other customers here thank you. lol people been giving negative reviews for a long time. Management replies but NOTHING is done . Two stars instead of one star because they do have the IMAX theater, which is nice to have in this downtown location close to home Unfortunately, does not live up to the standard of any branding of movie theater. Bathrooms filthy theater cleanliness below average. We went on Memorial Day and the first floor concession area was closed, which I understand. So we had to use the second floor concession area. that area is frankly dirty with popcorn and napkins strewn on the floor. We did use the elevator, same deal that thing was filthy.if you look down at the carpet, it’s just filthy the whole place needs a renovation. The only saving Grace is the staff was very nice. They also have a posted Security, which is good given the downtown location This is my second time going in a year. I thought that the first time was an aberration, but unfortunately, it’s worse this year somehow. Somebody left a review here, William G, 5 months ago similar review and someone from AMC replied, saying that they appreciate the feedback but obviously they haven’t done Jack since then … AMC Corporate: please throw this branch a lifeline, invest in upkeep and giving the workers and the patrons a top-notch experience. I do enjoy going to the movies so I haven’t given up on AMC.

We watched toy story 5 in theater number 2, it was very clean. Not busy. And the staff were very nice. We bought a large popcorn for only 11 bucks with infinite refills. That's amazing.

I like a good movie. I have been to the AMC theater almost 10 times now, enough to assess that this is not a one time thing. I am can not fully articulate how disgusting the female restrooms are routinely. I mean every single toilet every single bathroom every single time. I’ve been going to this movie theater for about six months and I’m in genuine shock that a health inspector has not shut them down for the sheer lack of consideration for their guests. This is not a picky elitist ranting. They are a genuine health hazard. It smells, your feet stick to the ground, every toilet is clogged, the trash is over flowing, the soap is empty, sometimes the sinks are even duct taped closed. It is entirely outrageous. I’ve been to several other movie theaters in the city and it’s not just a city thing. Plenty of other establishments dedicate time to actually cleaning them once in a while. Every time I go to this theater I’m in horror and it make me nervous to ever seat in the theater seats since hygiene and standard cleaning practices clearly take a back seat.

I appreciated being able to get tickets and order snacks ahead of time. Movie prices are a little high, especially with added convenience fees online. When we arrived, our selected seats were covered in popcorn and schmutz from previous movie goers, so that was less that pleasant. The theater sound was excellent. Seating good.

We visited Boston last week and watched the new Minecraft movie at the AMC Boston Common 19. The staff were amazing. We had multiple gift cards to use and we were having trouble with the kiosks. The worker, Joe, had the best sense of humor and he went above and beyond to help us. Our teens were being picky about seating at first until Joe mentioned two seats were "exotic and very popular." We got such a laugh because our teens immediately wanted those two seats. The facility was MASSIVE - we are from a small town with minimal movie theatres nearby and we have never been to such a big movie theater. The building itself was beautiful - there were tons of cool lights, quotes on the wall/ceiling and it gave such a vibe. We chose to try the dolby cinema and it did not disappoint. We kept looking over our shoulders because the movie sounds were coming from so many different speakers that at times it sounded like a character was talking right behind you. The seats were comfortable and they had a large variety of snacks and drinks to choose from. We had two almost 15 yo boys and 1 almost 9 yo boy. Our youngest's birthday was this past Friday, 4/18, and being able to see the Minecraft movie at such a cool place was so exciting for him. He keeps talking about it. We really enjoyed the experience and thank you so much to Joe and the female staff that assisted us!
