Please don't be alarmed if you happen to run into MBTA Entrance with AMC ads as it does have the same address "13 Causeway" and the whole ambience looks fancy like the movie theater. But the actual AMC is more to the LEFT of the big food court, with a separate door from outside. Also, my auditorium got switched TWICE with no updates from AMC. Maybe it gets updated on the app, but I only had my email ticket and they don't give you updates. You have to ask the staff, and I actually had asked the staff like 10 min before the show time but they switched again AT the show time. Might be the best to ask right on the dot 🤷‍♀️. Yeah but definitely found it annoying as I had reserved particular seats I had wanted from the website and it was NOT honored during all the auditorium switches. Looking it up, this apparently happens more frequently at this location due to smaller/mid-sized rooms, so visitors be aware! Popcorn/food/drinks are ordered at touch-based kiosk and you just pick it up at the stance. They call out your purchase number. The areas in general including the auditoriums and bathrooms were pretty clean and well-maintained. Staff were friendly.

This AMC has got to be one of my favorites!! It’s so beautiful and clean. It’s in kind of a sketchy area but they keep it super safe as you need a ticket just to get into the concession area. While you wait for a friend or just in general they have several arcade games and claw machines. The staff is super helpful. If I had to nitpick it’s that they don’t have a self-serve butter pump but they still have bottles of it at the counter that you can use for your popcorn if you just ask!! I also wish they had a self-serve drink machine but not every AMC has them. They also give you bags for big concession orders which is very thoughtful. The location itself is also on the smaller side in terms of theaters. While you might have slightly less movie times, I really like it as you don’t ever have to walk too far to get from your theater to the bathroom, concession stand, etc and won’t get lost.

Out of towner so I can’t compare to other Boston places, but people rating it as if it’s terrible is insanity. What are the two most important things in a theater? Sound and video. Both were exceptional and what I expect in an AMC theater. Reclining seats are nice but aren’t mandatory for me. Can’t comment on parking, walked over!

No Hospitality, just business. I recently went to AMC Theatres with my family to watch Hoppers, and unfortunately the experience was really disappointing. I was excited for the night and ordered drinks for everyone. Later, I went to get a refill, which was fine the first time. But when I tried to get another refill, I was told I couldn’t and would have to purchase an entirely new drink. I wasn’t aware of this policy beforehand, which was frustrating—especially since the machines were still on and available. What made the situation worse was how it was handled. I politely asked if they could make a one-time exception since I didn’t know about the rule, but the employee refused in a very dismissive way. The interaction felt rude and unprofessional, and there was no effort to show basic customer service or understanding. I then tried to speak with a manager, hoping for a better resolution, but that didn’t help either. The manager had a negative attitude and didn’t seem interested in addressing the issue, which made the experience even more frustrating. Overall, it wasn’t just about the refill—it was about how the situation was handled. The lack of communication about policies and poor customer service really took away from what should have been a fun family outing. I hope this location improves how they communicate policies and treats customers in the future.

Went to watch a movie that had shown up with a 3:40p show time online the day before, but the movie wasn't showing. There were no cashiers, but a ticket checker tried to help us. We selected a different movie, and the ticket checker tried to help us apply a discount we were supposed to get--didn't ever work. We got in, and the movie was great! Theatre 3! Except our music-centric film was screening right next to something with a ton of explosions, so besides our film, I could FEEL and HEAR the movie next door. The only two employees we saw were practically kids, no managers or anybody to help with the experience. Unlikely to come to this location again. Edit: and the AMC response below demonstrates how attentive they are. Removing a star from the review for this prepackaged and meaningless response . There are just better cinemas. Go here if you want to see a movie and you don't care about the experience as a whole.
