This was one of the worst theater experiences I’ve had, and it really comes down to a complete lack of hospitality and basic standards. We showed up as a new movie was starting, and the concession stand was essentially shut down. The only thing being offered were cups to fill drinks and candy, no real service and no fresh food. It felt like the staff was trying to close early instead of actually serving guests. What made it worse was standing there for several minutes watching employees throw away popcorn from the machine instead of serving customers who were waiting. That made zero sense and was incredibly frustrating. The bathrooms were in terrible condition. Trash cans were overflowing, paper towels were all over the floor, and multiple stalls had visible urine left in the toilets. The entire restroom smelled strongly like urine and clearly had not been cleaned in a while. There were wet floor signs out, but nothing actually looked cleaned, just neglected. The mess extended beyond the bathrooms. The drink station and lobby floors had spills, debris, and trash scattered around, adding to the overall dirty and unkept feel of the place. There was no sense of hospitality at all, no urgency, no cleanliness, no care for the customer experience. It honestly felt like the theater had already closed while people were still trying to watch movies. We ended up leaving and going to another theater because the experience here was that bad. This location is being run far below a 4.5 rating and nowhere near the standard you would expect from AMC. Management seriously needs to address cleanliness, staff accountability, and customer service.

I’ve watched so many movies at AMC Woodhaven that I honestly deserve a lifetime achievement award. From premieres to late-night shows, this theater has never disappointed me. The seats are always comfortable enough to survive my exhausted, long work-day sore body. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and everything runs smoothly no matter how busy it gets 👌. It’s the kind of theater where you walk in already knowing you’re going to have a good time. After so many visits, it feels more like a familiar hangout than a movie theater. If you want a reliable spot for every big release, AMC Woodhaven is it. I’ll probably be back next weekend… you know, working toward that lifetime achievement award ☺️🎬

Nice recliner seats and overall good movie experience! Concession/entrance situation needs a bit of work though

I have been going here for years. I enjoy coming to this place! You can tell their staff puts in the effort to keep it nice. Honestly that is all you can ask for from a movie theater. Screens are nice for being AMC theater.

I haven't been to the movies for a bit but my "go to" is always Woodhaven. Yesterday did not disappoint. The staff there are always friendly and helpful and the theater looked clean and the popcorn was really good! Great job, AMC Woodhaven!
