Overall experience with service was excellent. Only thing, chairs do not recline from back and tends to be uncomfortable and hirt.ypur neck. Others that were with me, said they were comfortable. So, it depends on heights, im 5'2.

This theater has really taken a turn for the worse. The seats are worn out and disgusting, and that’s if you are lucky and don’t get a seat that is broken. Filled out the survey after the last two shows we went to and requested to be contacted by the manager. Crickets. Be prepared for a horrible seating experience and to be charged premium prices for tickets & food along with the mandatory 18% service fee that they tack on at the end of your bill.

I normally go to the Park North location since it's closer but we attended the Jurassic Park movie party and thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this location. Snacks came out promptly, especially when ordering refills and facilities were clean. Would definitely take the drive to attend another movie party o or event

BEWARE - I don't know when Alamo Drafthouse implemented this, but it is a very deceptive tactic. Now instead of somebody coming to take your order, serve it to you, follow up with you, and close out your bill, you order online and pay AHEAD of time. They bring your food out. That's it. The server doesn't come check on you and see if you want refills or anything. So I thought "what a way to kill a tip job". Well here's where the deceptive part comes in. They send a text BEFORE THE MOVIE ENDS telling you that if you do not close out your tab within 20 minutes, they will add on a $5 tip. So even if all you ordered was a soda, you're going to get charged $5. My issue with this is 1) you're not really waited on, they simply bring you the food - that you can't get yourself; and 2) they send the text WHILE THE MOVIE IS PLAYING and your phone is on Do Not Disturb. We just hopped in the car to get home to make dinner so I did not see the text in time to change the tip or close it out. So without your knowledge, you get charged for them to simply bring out your food. I am highly irritated about this deceptive practice. When I saw the text I went to call the manager, and their voicemail is full, how convenient. If this practice is at every Alamo Drafthouse, I may stop going to them. So be forewarned, that you will be charged a $5 tip no matter how much - or how little - you ordered if you don't catch that text right after the movie. Very shifty practice.

I never thought I’d be writing a complaint like this about Alamo Drafthouse, but here we are. One of the main reasons people chose Alamo over other theaters was the strict no-talking, no-phone policy. It was part of the brand’s identity and honestly what made it stand out. You went there to actually watch the movie without distractions. Now, with the shift to QR code ordering, that experience has taken a serious hit. Instead of quietly writing down orders, people are pulling out their phones, unlocking screens, scrolling menus, and tapping away throughout the movie. It completely undermines the distraction-free environment that Alamo built its reputation on. The irony is hard to ignore. The same brand that used to call people out for using phones is now encouraging it mid-movie. It’s not just a small change either, it fundamentally changes the atmosphere in the theater. If the goal was efficiency, fine. But it came at the cost of the core experience that made Alamo special in the first place. Really disappointing direction.
