Alamo - The Price of Freedom in IMAX at the AMC Rivercenter 11 was a good reminder of the Alamo legacy. For those familiar with the history and those who are learning about Texas Independence…the movie portrays the courage shown by the heroes who defended the Alamo. We received discounted tickets from our hotel the Marriott Rivercenter. Tickets are one of the destination fee inclusions. A four dollar each up charge was required for the IMAX version. The IMAX wasn’t thrilling or near 3D like the one at the museum in Ft Worth. Picture and screen were very clear and the seats were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful at check in. Overall, a good time with some Texas history and legends in a 45 minute movie.

I had a wonderful experience at this theater everyone was very nice. I had excellent service with Zach specifically, he helped me and my family with ordering snacks and directing us to our theater. We were stuck between orders and he recommended me a combo on the menu that ended up working perfectly for me and my family. He was also very polite and friendly to my children making us feel welcomed. Overall the theaters were very clean and tidy!

We saw predators it was awesome!!! But getting a drink from drink station kinda nasty crust and pieces of stuff all over it. Then walk into the theater it smells. Hall way smells musty. Plus they playing commercials and advertisement for like freaking 30 mins of commercials??? Rawww. So u can be late 30 mins and be ok.

As a native of to San Antonio for 20yrs and first time going to this theater, because we thought, okay, it's on the river, walk. It should be a little upper class. Maybe because for the prices that we paid to go see a movie here for the 6 of us. The seating there was disgusting and ridiculous that it should definitely be updated because it's so outdated. I did expect the theater to be a little better than my normal city base. Because we go to city base theater, and that's our go to theater, and I'm gonna keep going there because I love it there. But this place right here, just broke my heart. Because I did expect better and I didn't get better. Because I wanted to see a imax movie.

Friendly Staff, Great Customer Service! Brought a group of my daughter friends here to watch a movie in honor of her birthday. Ease of parking; you must enter the commerce parking garage(3rd level) This will lead right at AMC doors. The IMAX is not too far, a level below.
