I chose the Admiral Theater for the Seattle premiere of my independent film What It Takes. I couldn’t be more grateful for the excellent support Danny, Brandon, Emily, and the team provided. They had great attitudes, were super helpful and supportive, and got things done. The movie looked amazing on the big screen. It was an honor to have a community conversation about addiction recovery in such a welcoming venue with excellent picture and sound (and concessions)!

edit: emily and the far away entertainment team has reached out and made this right, they will be having a team meeting and will increase staff numbers on busy nights. thank you! i usually love coming here but this was an absolutely horrendous experience and will never come back. went to see backrooms with a group of friends at 6:30 on a friday. one person working tickets and one person concessions, red flag. got into the theater at probably 6:37 and the movie had already began, no previews, second red flag. the BIGGEST red flag was the fact that the entire 1.5+ hour movie being overrun by teenagers CONSTANTLY RUNNING AROUND, YELLING, LAUGHING, being generally disorderly and disrespectful to everyone in the theater as if they have never been to a single movie in their entire life, and i did not see a single theater employee do a walkthrough the entire time. if you go to a regal or amc theater you usually see at least one or two employee walkthroughs during a viewing, admiral theater does not properly staff busy showings. THIRD RED FLAG. this was the worst movie experience i have ever been to, hands down, never in my life have i seen a movie and adults had to yell and curse at teenagers to be quiet, but tonight was a first. i am not even joking, these kids were running up and down the isles, constantly entering and exiting the room, yelling, bickering, causing so much commotion that it was hard to concentrate. when leaving the theater, there were full drinks spilled onto walkways, bags of popcorn thrown onto the ground, this is no point against the theater itself. i just feel horrible for the staff that had to deal with it afterward. if you do not want to experience these things, do not come here. this was the worst movie situations ive ever had and i will in fact be reaching out for a refund.

One employee doing ticket sales and concessions on their own on a Friday night when two larger movies were just released. Maybe put more employees on payroll so the theater is an enjoyable place to go to and the one person running the show isn’t stressed doing everything. Poor guy wasn’t having a good time. The entire theater being full of kids talking is a different story….parents please don’t send your kid into a theater if they’re not able to shut their mouth during literally the entire movie. This night wasn’t worth the $50.

Wow what an experience! Very old timey atmosphere, I miss theaters like this.

Cool building, operation left something to be desired. Showed up 20 minutes early and didn’t get my ticket until 10 minutes after the showing time. This is due to the theatre having a single person doing literally everything. Concession, selling tickets, scanning tickets for people who already purchased, probably popping the popcorn as well. Not sure I’ll be back.
