I love the Beacon! I hosted a screening for my birthday and it was a great experience. The employees were super helpful and it’s a unique and cozy space. I’ve also attended screenings here and have only great experiences. It’s so great to have independent and local theaters in Seattle.

I love💜love💜love💜this little theater! They show the best films🎥 (Arte, foreign, noir, cult)🎞️ in a comfortable setting that feels as though you’ve stepped back in time! Old style. The hipster-esque highly knowledgable staff typically provide great background stories for each film. The Beacon’s popcorn🍿is refillable and yummy! Jarito sodas🥤in unique flavors and beer🍻Best kept secret in Seattle. I’m lucky it’s in my end of town!

Great programming!!! Their calendar is a better recommendation list than anything around, and it doesn't hurt that the place itself is pretty incredible too! Also it is awesome watching the employees adjust the curtain to fit a specific film's aspect ratio right when it starts iykyk.

This theater plays important, beautiful, and sometimes hard to find films. I went for the first time last week and was so comforted by the coziness this theater offers. Free refills of popcorn too! The service was wonderful, and the pre-film introductions by their employees are thoughtful, inspiring, and perfectly suited to the films they present.

First time going to this theater, I rented a time slot for my birthday. Process was incredibly simple, I just told Tommy what movie I wanted to play and when the day came everything was all set up for us. The inside was well decorated and tasteful. The auditorium itself had surprisingly great sound and high quality picture. Everyone that came to my birthday had a great and memorable time. The staff were accommodating and awesome as well. Definitely a hidden gem that I was glad to find. Already looking forward to the next time I come back.
