Support this small and lovely local business! Visited last week with some friends to watch the Oscar shorts and what a wonderful night it was. As an added bonus I think they’ve updated the seats in this complex and they are phenomenal compared to most large corporate theaters, being comfortable and spacious. Make sure you go upstairs to see the view of Market Street from behind the glass. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this movie theater was! The seating was fantastic…leveled perfectly so even if you’re on the shorter side, you get an unobstructed view of the screen. The whole place was clean and well-maintained, making for a really comfortable experience. The sound system was good as well. Plus, you really can’t beat the $6 all-day showings on Tuesdays. Great value and a great experience overall!

The Majestic Theatre in Ballard is an absolute gem and a great example of not judging a book by its cover. From the outside, the building looks pretty unassuming, but once you step inside, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how modern, clean, and freshly remodeled it feels. The space has clearly been updated with comfort and style in mind, giving it a cozy yet upscale vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They were happy to answer questions and just generally make the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The ticketing process was quick and hassle-free, which I really appreciated. Inside the theater, the seats were a highlight—plush, comfortable, and they recline just enough to make watching a movie extra relaxing. The only small downside is that the rows are a bit close together, but it’s a minor thing compared to how nice everything else is. The sound and screen quality were excellent as well, making for a top-notch movie experience. And the best part? Tickets on Tuesdays are only $6! It’s an incredible deal for such a high-quality theater. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly.

I just wanted to share an amazing review for Natali (I believe the manager) at Majestic Bay Theatres! I purchased two tickets for a Tuesday showing and realized the next day that my plus-one had a conflict at the scheduled time. I contacted them through the form on their website, and they got back to me within just a few hours. They were incredibly helpful and sent passes for a future Tuesday showing later on that same day. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service!

I never knew I needed a whimsical local theatre in my life but apparently I really did- and so do you! The staff are always so kind, the facilities are clean and well maintained, and the movie showing itself are great quality. The parking can be mid but hey it’s Seattle! Tuesday matinees are great and just make sure to book the Tuesday before so you can get good seats! What I really appreciate is how local it truly feels. They engage with their costumers on social media taking requests and always make sure your voice is heard. They also do throw backs which I love and seeing everyone show up for the nostalgia is amazing. So, coming here is great for seeing a movie BUT also supporting a local business that seriously cares about its community and creating a safe space.
