Recently took my kid to watch Toy Story 5 here. The theater is generally in desperate need of renovation (old and decrepit are the two words that often came to mind). The carpets are threadbare, the seats are broken, and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The two stars are for the acceptable service we got. Go elsewhere.

This place hasn't changed one bit since the 90s, and I wouldn't haver it any other way. Same seats, same arcade machines in the lobby, same classic decorations everywhere. Love the escalators going up by the wooden supports for the bar on the upper level. The only difference is they've added one of those fancy drink machines with a touchscreen. Always a nice place to go for a movie, very isolated from the city noise, and they have a wide selection of films.

Overall I was impressed with this movie theater. It’s pretty big, and it was pretty clean. We saw a double feature in the afternoon to escape the 100° weather. We bought tickets online ahead of time, which were 30% off as they were matinees. I really liked that we had to select our seats on a seating chart, and also that they automatically blocked off seats on either side of ours to allow for distancing between us and other people. The service at the ticket check-in and the concessions was also pretty fast and friendly. Would definitely go back here for another movie and would recommend!

Well, this movie theater has definitely seen better days. What's really working in this theater is that the staff are all really great. I interacted with a number of them and they were all really helpful and super friendly and doing a good job as well. But that's where it about ends here. This theater is totally worn out. The AC is only working in certain places. The seats are really old and uncomfortable and many of them are broken and missing cup holders and tilt forward. The escalator going up wasn't working so you have to take the service elevator which is really hideous on the inside. The screens for today's standards are super small in comparison to auditorium size. And the popcorn is old and stale. This theater needs a massive refresh and make-over because it's starting to look like a budget theater, which is sad, because back in the day this theater was both hopping and really nice but it's been thirty years of use on it and it SHOWS. And the floors were sticky! I might go to a free sneak preview here but I am never going back to the AMC here again. I already wasn't because down town is so awful but now there's two reasons not to go. Sad to see the state of affairs here in what used to be one of the most vibrant shopping and retail districts in the state turn to total trash.

honestly one of the worst movie theater experiences I’ve had in Seattle. The auditorium floor was extremely sticky to the point where it felt uncomfortable walking around, and the whole theater felt outdated and poorly maintained. I understand this is an older downtown location, but basic cleanliness should still be expected for the price of a movie ticket.
