Went to go see Mandalorian at Imax, cool! Been along time since I been to Westfield Mall, but it was great. Seats rocked, family bathroom, fun and just browsing thru the mall, Westfield has changed alot, been about 20yrs, but here are picks from AMC theater

Great Movie, but Theater Experience Needs Improvement ​I visited AMC Southcenter 16 on a Sunday morning to watch Avatar: Fire and Ash in IMAX with Laser 3D. While the movie itself was a masterpiece, the theater experience left much to be desired. ​Check the 3D Glasses: The IMAX 3D glasses provided were greasy and covered in fingerprints. It was quite disappointing. I highly recommend checking your glasses before the movie starts, and I truly hope the staff will take more care in sanitizing and polishing them for future guests. Also, as someone whose nose doesn't fit these glasses well, I had to hold them up with one hand for the entire 3 hours. I really look forward to the day we can watch 3D movies without glasses! ​Booking Tip: A heads-up on pricing: online tickets were $20.19 each, but with taxes and surcharges, the total for two came to $48.05. Even when using vouchers, the website tried to add another service fee. I recommend buying tickets directly at the theater to avoid these extra surcharges. You might lose the ability to reserve seats early, but you'll save money. ​Theater Facilities: The seats were an older model and quite uncomfortable for a long film. I wish this location would upgrade to all-reclining seats; it would definitely make me want to visit more often. ​The Movie (5/5): The film itself was incredible! The story, the visuals, and the themes of family love were deeply moving. The battle scenes were intense, and despite the 3-hour runtime, it felt like it passed in a heartbeat. ​Summary: Go for the movie, but be prepared for outdated seating and bring a cloth to wipe your 3D glasses!

I’ve been to this theater a few times now and have enjoyed my visits. The staff is usually nice. Like most movie theaters, the food and snacks are pretty overpriced, so I’d recommend eating beforehand. The seats aren’t recliners, but they’re decent enough - no major complaints there. The sound system is solid and overall it’s a good place to catch a movie. Parking isn’t bad since you’re at a mall. But if the mall is busy you may have to park a little further from the mall entrance

We rented a theatre at the Westfield Southcenter AMC for a private family event, and it was such a fun experience. Having the whole auditorium to ourselves to watch Wicked made it feel extra special! Everything went smoothly and the staff was helpful. It was a great way to enjoy a movie together, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to do a private screening.

Truly one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. I've been using Atom Tickets to buy movie tickets for a decade. It's easy to see multiple theatre chains times all in one place, and I've never had an issue with their service. Today I went to go see two movies at this location: Passenger at 2:10 and The Mandalorian and Grogu at 6 in IMAX, both purchased via Atom. As usual, the first movie was no problem and we saw it without issue. When the theatre scanned our tickets for the second showing, they didn't go through. The staff let us in after seeing my confirmation email from Atom, only to find out seats were filled. The supervisor at the desk refused to help other than offering us seats that would split up me and my partner. No refunds, no rain checks, nothing. Told me to take it up with Atom. When I explained Atom doesn't refund after showtime, which the supervisor held us until after it passed, they told me they can't help me and instead order from AMC directly next time. They were condescending through the entire exchange and it felt as if they didn't want to help me at all in the first place. I'll never come back to this location, and will likely reconsider going to AMC in general. Whoever was working here between 5:45 and 6:00pm Pacific on May 23, 2026 behind the customer service desk should not be in a customer-facing position. I've worked in retail management for over a decade and I'd do everything in my power to find a way to help even if I couldn't help directly. Maybe that's just how AMC is.
