Michael Faas a month agoFor the most part, this is an organized and well run theater. Last weekend, I attended my first iMax feature film. The air conditioning in the building was out and it was about 85 degrees in the theater. There was no advanced notice or even signs to notify patrons of this. I didn't spend $80 on tickets and refreshments and drive four hours to Denver to sit in an 85 degree room.
Dana Payne 2 months agoSaw Project Hail Mary, both mine and my kids first imax. It was great; screen, picture, sound were awesome. The seats are pretty good for non reclining "stadium" style. The high backs give a sense of privacy and the slope the seats are on is steep enough people's heads don't get in the way. Popcorn sucks but whatever, it's edible. Biggest complaint is like 40% of the toilets were out of order. No bueno after a 2.5 hr movie. Good spot to go see blockbusters at the imax but I'll take my recliners at my local theatre for more typical movies. Also would be totally awesome if they upgraded the imax to dual laser, they could charge a premium and folks would pay just saying.
Panda Pants 3 months agoReally disappointed in the seating. Other theaters have at the very least, the comfy loveseat chairs. Most nowadays recline. The auditorium we were in had seats like the the early 2000's with zero leg room. If you are not in the middle, expect to stand up for every person needing to come and go. Fingers crossed your drink does not come out of the cup holder due to you standing or them passing. The seats were not wide enough and the tiny arm rests are just as bad as they are on airplanes. People behind me kept using my back of the seat to get up from their seat. The seats were not comfortable for a 2.5 hour movie or even 10 minutes. For the same price, you can go to any other theater for much better seating. This theater needs an update badly!!! Come on Regal, stadium seating is out. Will not be back until this theater is brought up to date in this decade.
Jae Squared 3 months agoSo the lobby is nice. The concessions seem clean and well staffed. The seats were comfortable and the movie looked good. However. 1. Don't blast me with commercials about how my house is falling apart and my water heater is gunna explode. I'm at the movies to escape all that for couple hours. Very tone deaf. And speaking of deaf: 2. The terrible ads and the coming attractions were painfully loud. I've been on the rail at many an EDM show and that was nothing compared to the torture endured in the minutes leading up to the feature. It really lessened the entire experience. Please be more attentive to the sound. I've read quite a few reviews and it seems to be a recurring theme. Perhaps you could actually send a human into the room at certain key points to make sure you're providing an experience that is reflective of the 30 dollar ticket price. And no I don't want to send an email and discuss it further. Just take the feedback and do something with it.
Tobey Yeiter 2 weeks agoI haven’t seen a movie in the theater since Top Gun Maverick. Today was the last time after seeing Disclosure Day. The biggest disappointment, other than the movie itself, was the theater experience. I timed it, no joke, 38 minutes of 95% commercials. Paid $2-3 more per ticket because we didn’t buy online beforehand. No butter on our buttered popcorn. Pretty much a huge fail on all levels. I will never go to a movie theater again.
