The actual experience is great. The movies are classics. The issue is when there is weather related issues. There is no way for me as the buyer to know if they are going to cancel for weather. My original date to see this movie in kc was marked by touch down tornadoes, hail, and heavy rain. No word from Rooftop Cinema. I had to send an email to them to request to change my date since there is no refunds. The process of cancelling should be better and be at least 2 hrs before showtime to give people noticed before they attempt to travel yo the space.

**Update: all of the below stuff is the same. This is my second time there and there will be plenty more. I went with a friend to the Rooftop Cinema and we had so much fun! The service was fantastic and all the workers were so kind and polite. They treated us and made us feel very welcome! There were lots of games to play before the show! Pictures were amazing with the view! Definitely will go again! And… I am a large person and I fit comfortably in the single airondack chairs.

We had a great time seeing Star Wars at the Rooftop Cinema. We had VIP tickets and definitely worth the extra money! Would highly recommend and hope this stays in KC for a long time to come.

I went for the first time tonight and it was so fun! Come early to hang out and get drinks. The staff is really welcoming and friendly. The seats were actually really comfortable and the headphones worked great. I will definitely come back :)

Okay, first of all — this place is stunning. Like, Pinterest-board levels of aesthetic. The lights, the skyline, the cozy chairs, the vibe — everything feels straight out of a movie. You can literally feel the city energy while watching your favorite films under the stars. We had a little issue with our tickets when we got there, but the manager was an absolute angel. Seriously one of the nicest, most genuine people ever. He handled everything so fast and made sure we were totally taken care of. You can tell he actually cares about the guests — super interactive, super positive, and honestly? His hair deserves its own shout-out because it was because it was on point 😂 The person running the bar was also such a sweetheart — always smiling, so helpful, and made the drink line actually enjoyable. The drinks were so good (and so pretty), and the food was chef’s kiss — way better than normal movie snacks. Overall, Rooftop Cinema Club KC is THAT spot. It’s romantic, it’s fun, it’s aesthetic, and everyone there just makes the experience even better. The whole night felt like a core memory. If you’re thinking about going — just do it. You’ll fall in love with the vibe instantly. 🌆✨🎬
