During our first visit here at the Modern, we took a sneak peek inside this wonderful venue, in anticipation of their upcoming movie schedule, and their Chamber Music Series. We're smarter than we look, because we actually came back...and to watch a foreign film, while we dined right next door prior! What a fantastic venue, the acoustics are incredible, the audience, well behaved and kind of essentric with their fashion choices too! Loved that part. We viewed the Norwegian movie, "the worst person in the world", and totally enjoyed it. The language, scenery, culture, and yes.... those subtitles too! Felt kinda like we traveled...and with no Rick Steves! Fantastic venue!

Went to the Fort Worth Film Club movie night at the Magnolia - Modern Museum, and it was very clean, seats were really soft and were all cloth, and space was built in such a way that the movie pulls you in. Sound of movie was crisp and just the right amount of volume, tickets were bought online, and the FWFC were really welcoming. Movie shown was Scream, classic slasher film, and they showed the extended director’s cut!!! Will come back to watch more of their showings!

Thank goodness the Modern shows brand new art house films every weekend. We like to have dinner in the museum dining room and then go to the 8 o’clock show on Friday nights.

Great place to watch memorable movies. Clean, fresh, and small. And the restaurant is a treat.
