HORRIBLE SERVICE! Theatre and seats are nice but that's pretty much it. Came with my husband during a week night. We had to call the main number to try to order food. The lady that answered said there was only one person. She said it could be awhile or we could come down to the bar and order what we wanted. After 20 minutes went to the bar and was going to order then my husband calls and said the server finally showed up at the seats. She took our order almost $50 later for a popcorn and food. I asked the server if the large popcorn was free refills and she said yes and just to push the button on the seat. About 30 minutes into the movie I pushed the button and no one ever came back. We waited till the rest of the movie like an hour and a half and no one ever came. When we left after the movie it was all dark and like no kitchen staff or front staff like everyone had left. Good for movies but don't waste your time trying to get food they don't pay attention or seem to have any servers who come when you push the button.

While we did had some issues with our movie starting the rest of the experience was enjoyable. The food was hot and fresh, the burger was very good, the service was quick. We ordered ahead in the app ad it came at the time we selected. The theatre was clean from the time we entered, bathrooms were clean and the reclining seats wired well. While things an older theatre, they have done a great job with upkeep and cleanliness. The staff that we engaged with were friendly.

Excelent service. clean and amazing discounts people are very friendly the food is very tasty and the atmosphere is just absolutely awesome. Don't forget to ask for your free membership you get free stuff on Tuesdays and amazing discounts.

I’ve been to the Movie Tavern on Hulen Street several times now, and every visit has been a genuinely great experience. The theater is always clean, the seats are comfortable, and the atmosphere feels relaxed in a way that makes movie‑going actually fun again. The staff has consistently been friendly and attentive, whether it’s taking orders, delivering food, or helping guests get settled before the previews start. The food and drinks come out surprisingly fast for a dine‑in theater, and everything I’ve ordered has been solid — definitely better than the typical “movie food” you’d expect. I also appreciate how easy the whole process is, from finding seats to paying the check, which keeps the focus on enjoying the movie instead of dealing with hassle. After several visits, I can honestly say this location has earned its spot as one of my favorite places to catch a movie in Fort Worth. Every time I go, I walk out feeling like I got a smooth, enjoyable night out.

Ordered large popcorn 2 drinks and a mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks took 30 mins, the drinks showed up 1 hour into the movie. And popcorn never showed up even after asking about it. Would not recommend, there was enough staff standing in the hallway to provide better service than that. They did give us a refund for food but its not about the refund its about the service.
